BIOGRAPHY

Raised in Coweta County, GA, Jonathan attended Woodward Academy, where he played lacrosse and attained an academic scholarship to Clemson University. During his time at Clemson, Jonathan earned his Bachelor of Arts in English with a Minor in Creative Writing. He soon continued his education by obtaining his law degree from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Jonathan began his career with the Fayette County District Attorney’s Office before serving as an associate under the Special Assistant Attorney General. Following 11 years of dedicated practice at Overman & Overman, he branched out to establish his own law firm. A seasoned litigator, Jonathan currently serves the State of Georgia as a Special Assistant Attorney General, balancing his commitment to public service with the leadership of his independent practice.

Jonathan has always had the ambition to build an honest, hardworking legal practice that represents a spectrum of clients. He has experience in various legal specialties ranging from complex criminal and civil litigation to traffic citations and DUI cases. Jonathan’s primary areas of expertise are criminal law and civil litigation, including a wide range of issues such as personal injury, and contract disputes, among others. He has represented individuals, business entities, and business owners in various forms of legal disputes in State, Superior, and Federal Court. Jonathan has also argued against large insurance companies and has repeatedly negotiated, litigated, and resolved disputes with law firms from all over the state of Georgia. In doing so, Jonathan is known as the attorney to go to for Juvenile Criminal Delinquency matters, criminal defense, DUI and traffic citations, and auto accidents in the South Atlanta Metro Area.
